In the clutch device 20, a driving mechanism 21 and an engaging mechanism 22 are arranged in a relatively rotatable manner around a common axis Ax; the driving mechanism 21 has a first engagement unit 25 provided at the position separate from the axis Ax by the predetermined distance in the radial direction; the engaging mechanism 22 has a second engagement unit 35 provided parallel to the first engagement unit 25 in the direction of the axis Ax, and is movable in the direction of the axis Ax between the engaging position at which the first and second engagement units 25, 35 are brought into contact with each other and the releasing position at which the first and second engagement units are separated from each other; and an urging means is provided, which presses a part on the inner side in the radial direction from the second engagement position so that the second engagement unit 35 is pressed against the first engagement unit 25. One of a first contact surface 25a of the first engagement unit 25 and a second contact surface 35a of the second engagement part 35 which are in contact with each other at the engagement position is a concave surface in which their center parts are retracted from an outer circumferential end and an inner circumferential end, and the other is a convex surface in which their center parts are projected therefrom.
