Abstract:
To provide a clutch device that is suitable to reduce the size of an actuator for driving a clutch member, and to provide a washing machine.SOLUTION: An actuator 7 used in a clutch device includes an output arm 76 that has an operating point for driving a clutch member, and the output arm 76 is swingable around a support point 76b. In the output arm 76, from one end side thereof toward the other end side, the support point 76b, a long hole 760 (a force point 76a) in which an eccentric pin 732 of a crank member 73 is fitted, and the operation point 76c are disposed in this order. Accordingly, it is not necessary to provide the support point 76b at a position protruding from an actuator body (an outer case 70). Therefore, the actuator 7 can be reduced in size. Further, even when the actuator 7 is reduced in size, a distance between the support point 76b and the force point 76a can be sufficiently secured and thus, deterioration in the efficiency of torque transmission to the tip end (the operating point 76c) of the output arm 76 can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
