The clutch device 1 with a brake has a rotary drive shaft 2 drive-connected to a motor, a driven shaft 15 rotatably supported on a lid 13 of a housing in the same center axle O as the rotary drive shaft 2, a driven disc 16 attached to the driven shaft 15, a thrust movable clutch unit 34 having a clutch disc portion 10, a drive mechanism 31 for moving the clutch unit 34 toward the driven disc 16 with a centrifugal force, a thrust movable brake unit 35 having a brake disc portion 8, and an elastic member 12 for energizing the brake unit 35 to the driven disc 16, and a ring member 7 rotatably attached to the outer surface of the clutch unit 34 and engaged with the brake unit 35.
