Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device capable of preventing engine stall when a vehicle is stopped by an automatic braking function.SOLUTION: A clutch device 14 comprises: a clutch mechanism connecting an engine 12 of a vehicle 10 to a change gear 16 to transmit a drive force and canceling the connection by closely attaching or separating a clutch plate and a rotating plate facing the clutch plate to each other or from each other; a release fork 34 driven by pressing a clutch pedal 26 and separating the clutch plate from the rotating plate; a second clutch actuation mechanism 78 actuating the release fork 34 to separate the clutch plate from the rotating plate irrespective of operation by the clutch pedal 26; and an automatic braking function provided in the vehicle 10 and performing braking for avoiding a hazardous situation irrespective of driver's operation, the second clutch actuation mechanism 78 actuating the release fork 34 so as to separate the clutch plate from the rotating plate when the vehicle 10 is stopped by action of the automatic braking function.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
