Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively absorb a torque fluctuation of an engine and to prevent the occurrence of a gear backlash noise of a transmission gear box at a low rotation time of an idling time, by mounting a spring compressed in an axial direction of a clutch disc. CONSTITUTION:A friction force of a detent ball 10 pressed against a spline hub 1 by a spring 9 increases as the relative angle of the hub 1 to a clutch plate 4 and to retaining plate 5 increases. If the relative angle of the splining hub 1 to the clutch plae 4 and to the retaining plate 5 exceeds a set value, a spring 11 begins to be compressed. A maximum relative rotational angle of the splining hub 1 to the clutch plat 4 and to the retaining plate 5 can be widened than a maximum relative rotational angle of conventional clutch discs. Thus, torque fluctuation can effectively be absorbed, and this permits a backlash noise of a transmission gear box to be prevented from occurring.
