Abstract:
PURPOSE:To absorb the vibration due to the torque change of the engine side certainly in order to prevent the generation of tapping noise, by constituting an elastically pressing mechanism in such a way as having its pressing body brought in elastic contact with a notch formed on one of an inner and an outer hubs by means of a spring provided on the other one. CONSTITUTION:The torque of the engine side is inputs from a facing 7, a drive plate 4, a side plate 5 and a torsion spring 6 to a clutch shaft 1 through an inner and outer hubs 2, 3. A spring 16 is deformed elastically, said inner and outer hubs 2, 3 are rotated relatively and a ball 15 is pressed back outward. Thus, the circumferential vibration of said outer hub 3 and so on due to the torque change is absorbed by the damping friction torque due to the pressed back force of said ball 15. By such a construction, the tap between the spline 3a in said outer hub 3 and the spline 2a outside of said inner hub 2 is controlled, thereby preventing the generation of tapping noise.
