Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve reliability of seal performance and simultaneously reduce a cost of manufacture by attaining miniaturization and lightening weight in a vibration damping means using a viscous fluid, and further decreasing a part of setting up a seal member for obtaining seal space of the vibration damping means.
CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary shaft 43 of external diameter smaller than that of an input shaft 31 is mounted on one end side of the input shaft 31 mounted on a housing plate 32, to form seal space 49 of a vibration damping means 36 for annularly surrounding the periphery of the auxiliary shaft 43. By partly swelling a lining supporting plate 34 superposed on the housing plate 32, annular space 46 for surrounding the periphery of the auxiliary shaft 43 is formed, and by mounting a seal member 48 on a part of overlapping the housing plate 32 with the lining supporting plate 34, the annular space 46 serves as seal space 49 filled with a viscous fluid.
