To provide a clutch-engagement control device for prompt engagement of a clutch without a shock, even though a starting point of clutch engagement is changed.
The clutch-engagement control device 100 conducts engagement of a friction clutch 1 by using an actuator 3, and is provided with a magnetostrictive sensor 71 for detecting a state of power-transmission of the clutch 1. In the engagement of the clutch, two engagement-speeds are adopted. In the 1st engagement speed, the clutch 1 starts power-transmission from a power-untransmissive state, and the power transmission rate is gradually increased, until the sensor 71 detects the start of the power transmission. When the sensor 71 has detected the start of power-transmission, the 1st speed is changed to a 2nd engagement-speed, which is lower than the 1st speed.
