The clutch facing includes 23 vol% glass fiber, 1 vol% metal wire (copper), 12 vol% aqueous phenol for glass fiber impregnation, and 64 vol% compounded rubber. The 64 vol% of the compounded rubber is made up of, when 64 vol% of the compounded rubber is assumed to be 100 vol%, 39 vol% rubber, 5 vol% carbon black, 6 vol% sulfur, and 3 vol% vulcanization accelerator. When a sum of the compounded rubber is 100 vol%, in the compounded rubber containing no cashew dust, a sum of rubber and calcium carbonate is changed between 73-83 vol%, and diatomaceous earth is also in a range of 3-13 vol%.
