Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent damage of molding properties even if an amount of glass fiber is large, by a method wherein glass flake is added in glass fiber or mixture of glass fiber and asbestos fiber, and a friction material consisting of a binder, an organic filler, and an inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION:By adding flake-shaped and fimy glass flake in glass fiber or mixture of glass fiber and asbestos fiber and a friction material consisting of a binder, an organic filler, and an inorganic filler, spring pack of glass fiber is reduced. Thus, even if glass fiber, which produces an effect when it is partially increased in temperature, is increased up to 55% in a volume ratio, molding properties is inhibited against damage, and the quality of a manufactured product is uniformized. Further, this enables provision of proper soft touch and resistance to wear for a product.
