Title:
CLUTCH MANIPULATOR FOR MOTOR-DRIVEN WHEELCHAIR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3460445
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let both a rider and an attendant easily manipulate a clutch by connecting a clutch lever for rider and a clutch lever for attendant to a clutch means when manipulating the clutch means for intermitting motive force transmitted from a driving motor to rear wheels.
SOLUTION: When a clutch lever 54 is turned and a cam follower 46 is moved toward the outside of a vehicle by a clutch cam 48, with this action, a slide gear 30 is moved toward the outside of a counter shaft 28 against a spring 38 by a shift fork 44 and such a state is held. Therefore, a dog part 18a of the slide gear 30 is detached from a dog part 18b of a counter gear 24, the transmission of motive force between a driving motor 10 and rear wheels 6 is cut off and manual push is enabled. Next, when the attendant steps a stepping pedal and engages a clutch means 18 by moving the slide gear 30 back toward the inside, the state of enabling the rotations of rear wheels 6 through the motor 10 is provided.
