Abstract:

To provide a clutch mechanism capable of realizing selective rotation of a plurality of shafts and engagement bodies, and provide a useful hinge device capable of providing reduction in the number of parts, opening/closing between members and rotating, and obtaining feeling of clicks of a rotational angle.

This clutch mechanism includes the engagement bodies 40, 42; a shaft portion (a rotating shaft 16) of which the rotational center is set in a cross direction with the central shaft of the engagement bodies, a first sliding portion (protruding wall portion 46) provided at the engagement body, second sliding portions (groove portions 50, 52) which are formed at a circumferential wall portion of the shaft portion, and engaged with the first sliding portion of the engagement bodies to permit either of one or both of the rotation of the shaft portion or/and circumferential rotational movement of the first sliding portion with the shaft portion centered, and a sliding surface portion 54 which is formed at the circumferential wall portion of the shaft portion and with which the first sliding portion of the engagement bodies are brought into contact, and which permits either of one or both of the rotation of the shaft portion with the engagement bodies centered or/and the rotation of the engagement bodies. With this constitution, the hinge device which enables opening/closing and rotation of the first and the second members is constituted.
