Abstract:
PURPOSE:To permit a clutch to be smoothly engaged free from impact by allowing a clutch operating arm installed between the flanges which are installed at both ends of a slider to be shifted through a spring, when the slider is shifted in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:An input shaft 3 which is revolved by an engine is equipped with low-speed and high-speed gears 8 and 9, and the revolution of the shaft 3 is transmitted to a clutch shaft 4 for high-speed revolution by separating a clutch gear 7 on the clutch shaft 4 so as to engage said clutch gear 7 with a high speed gear 9 from a low-speed gear 6 on the clutch shaft 4 through transfer of a clutch arm 10. A clutch 11 which is equipped with advancing and retreating clutch gears 12 and 13 on the both sides is slidingly installed on the clutch shaft 4, and said clutch 11 is slid through a clutch operating arm 14. Said operating arm 14 is so formed as being moved through a spring 26 by shifting a slider 23 through a bevel gear train 31, a pinion 34, and a latch 24 by a turning of an operating arm 30.
