Title:
CLUTCH MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6031123
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce a circumferential speed ratio loss without lowering the strength of a face clutch by forming a specified relation between the number of teeth of one member and the number of teeth of the other member, in a driving member and a driven member for constituting the face clutch.

CONSTITUTION: A gear 14 has eight pieces of teeth 14a extended radially from the center part, and has a pitch of 45 degrees at equal intervals. It has a teeth 14a engaging surface 14b and a sliding surface 14c, and a member 15 has six pieces of teeth 15a extended radially from the center part, and has a pitch of 60° at equal intervals. After rewinding is completed, a sprocket shaft 23 is reset to its original position, and in case when the next winding is executed, a clutch is not engaged during the maximum 15°, therefore, the gear 14 is not driven, and a wind spool 2 is not rotated. It becomes a peripheral speed ratio loss. The larger the loss angle becomes, the larger the peripheral speed ratio loss becomes. The loss angle is reduced remarkably by denoting the number of teeth of the driven side and the number of teeth of the driving side as Z1 and Z2(<Z1), respectively, and satisfying a condition of Z1/Z2≠n.
