Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a clutch motor, in which a groove is formed in at least one of clutch ring, brake ring and sliding shaft so as to avoid shortage of lubricating oil, whereby smooth operation of clutch and brake ring can be ensured. CONSTITUTION:At the middle portion of spline teeth of clutch ring 15, there is formed a groove 20 having a diameter slightly smaller than that of the bottom 21 of spline teeth. On the other hand, grease is applied over the tooth surface 22 of spline teeth and at the same time is filled in the groove 20. Supply of grease to the spline teeth is accomplished by taking out grease from groove 20 by use of the portion utilized conventionally for scraping out grease between sliding shaft 11 and clutch ring 15, brake ring 16 which are reciprocally slided on the shaft 11. With such an arrangement, satisfactory lubrication is ensured for sliding movement between clutch ring 15, brake ring 16 and slidng shaft 11, so that operation can be rendered smooth.
