Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent some dangerous operation found in a sawing machine etc. and to decrease a running cost of the machine by enabling some wears in the clutch lining to be detected by a moving distance of the driving shaft. CONSTITUTION:Adjustment plate 36 is arranged between the motor rotating shaft bearing 34 and the housing 23 and a resistor bridge with one side of the strain gauge 40 adhered to the adjustment plate 36 is kept balanced by a force of the spring 32. When a wear of the clutch lining 13 is proceeded and the clutch ring 14 is abutted against the stopper 20 of the movement restriction mechanism, a force for retracting the clutch disk 3 becomes higher, a pressure of the spring 32 applied to the adjustment plate 36 is varied, a resistance value of the strain gauge 40 is also varied, non-balanced electric current is flowed in the bridge circuit, and amplified to light the lamp 48 via relay 45. In this way, it is possible to inform an operation of a wear of the clutch lining 13, to give him a notice of replacement, to eliminate the dangerous operation of the sawing machine and further to decrease the maintenance cost.
