PURPOSE: To perform clutch operation while grasping the steering lever of a walking type cultivator, smooth the turning motion of a clutch operation lever, and decrease the lever stroke to certainly perform the switching operation of the clutch.

CONSTITUTION: A wire operation tool 16 and a lever operation tool 17 are pivotable fitted to a mounting plate 13. A clutch operation lever 22 is fixed to the lever operation tool 17, a pin 23 is protruded near the turning motion base of the lever, and the pin is engaged with an oval hole 24 opened in the mounting plate 13. When the clutch operation lever 22 is put in its turning motion, the pin 23 is slid in the oval hole 24 to come in contact with the end part of the oval hole 24, and the clutch operation lever 22 is moved over the dead point and positioned in on-state or off-state.
