Abstract:
PURPOSE:To have an arrangement where a rotating operational shaft is stopped at a certain point of time and hindered from turning backward to maintain this condition with possibility reserved also to rotate further, by constituting the transmission from combination of a clutch merely to couple and decouple and a one- way clutch. CONSTITUTION:At the tip of an operational shaft 3 is mounted a one-way clutch composed of an inner 4, an outer 5, a roller 7 and a spring 8. If rotated in the condition that a coil 12 is out of current application, the operational shaft 3 can revolve regardless of the direction of revolution because a stationary member 11 is set free from a rotational braking member 14. When current is fed to the coil 12, these two members 11, 14 are put together while the outer 5 takes stationary position, so that the operational shaft 3 is allowed to turn only in a single direction by the action of roller 7.
