PURPOSE: To ensure displacement reset action by a hydraulic driving means by always storing lubricating oil in an oil reservoir chamber provided at the bottom part of a crank chamber even with liquid refrigerant existing in the crank chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A cam plate 13 is mounted on a rotary supporting body 9, fixed to a rotary shaft 4, through a hinge mechanism K1 so as to be tiltable in longitudinally reciprocating motion. A spool 24 for resetting the cam plate 13 into an inclined position from 0° is provided on the rotary shaft 4. A first solenoid change-over valve 31 is provided at the intermediate part of the oil discharge passage 29 of a lubrication pump 27, and the oil discharge passage 29 upstream of the change-over valve 31 and a pressure chamber 26 for imparting an oil pressure to the spool 24 are communicated with each other by a branch supply passage 32. An oil reservoir chamber R is formed at the bottom part of a crank chamber 2a, and the oil reservoir chamber R and an intake chamber 3a are communicated with each other by a steam extraction passage 50. A passage 2d for communicating the crank chamber 2a with the oil reservoir chamber R is provided with a check valve 45 so as to impede the contraflow of lubricating oil to the crank chamber 2a when the oil level rises due to liquid refrigerant flowing into the oil reservoir chamber.
