Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a clutchless compressor to transfer the inclination angle of a swash plate to zero when a compressor is not run and reliably hold capacity in a zero state.
CONSTITUTION: A swash plate supporting body 14 to inclinably support a swash plate 15 is energized in a direction, in which the inclination angle of a swash plate is decreased, through the force of a tensile spring 40. The center of gravity C of the swash plate 15 is set to a position wherein the swash plate support body 14 is energized in a direction, in which the inclination angle of a swash plate is increased, by means of the centrifugal force thereof. Switching bodies 34A and 34B in a cylinder body 12 rotated integrally with a rotary shaft 7 is interlocked with a ball valve 43 and the ball valve 43 is driven for opening and closing through magnetization and demagnetization of an electromagnetic solenoid 47. When the inclination angle of a swash plate is reduced to zero, a holding ball 37 is pressed by the switching body 34A and protruded from the cylinder body 12 and the swash plate supporting body 14 is held in a position where the inclination angle of a swash plate is reduced to zero.
