Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a co-generation device and its control method capable of performing operation control for avoiding a time zone of inexpensive commercial electric power, by accurately predicting electric power demand and hot-water supply demand different for each user, improving operation efficiency of the co-generation device, and eliminating wasteful hot-water storage of no-use after midnight.
SOLUTION: The co-generation device comprises a means 2 for detecting power demand, a means 3 for detecting hot-water supply demand, a means 4A for detecting information related to temperature, and a predicting means 100 for predicting power consumption and/or hot-water supply demand. The predicting means 100 predicts power consumption and/or hot-water supply demand after a predetermined time based on information related to date and day of the week, present detected values of the detected power demand, hot-water supply demand, and information related to temperature, and values of them at a time before a certain period.
