To provide a CO2 heater used for a CO2 gas turbine cycle, with reduced pressure loss of CO2, and reduced size, high in efficiency ηb of the CO2 heater and high in reliability.
The CO2 heater includes: a combustion chamber 11, in which a panel formed by arranging tubes close to one another constitutes a furnace wall, and the CO2 flows in the tube to cool the furnace wall by the CO2; a flue 12 through which combustion gas generated therein flows; a flue CO2 super-heating part 14 disposed in the flue along a flow of combustion gas, and further heating the CO2 heated by cooling the furnace wall; a steam boiler 12 generating steam for a steam air preheater; and an air preheater 17 preheating combustion air. The CO2 gas turbine cycle having the CO2 heater is also provided.
