Abstract:

To carry CO2 in the state of compression gas or liquid without using a pipeline or a dedicated carrier vessel.

Compressed CO2 gas is carried on an LPG vessel 1, and liquefied CO2 is carried on a CNG vessel. For example, in a case of the LPG vessel 1, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) carried on the LPG vessel 1 is unloaded at a petroleum gas receiving storage base 8, and CO2 gas is then loaded onto the LPG vessel 1 at a CO2 gas loading base 9 to be transported to a CO2 gas unloading base 10. The CO2 gas carried is provided for use 11 for EOR (enhanced oil recovery), or for an underground isolation or underwater isolation 12.
