Abstract:
To provide a coagulation/sedimentation apparatus that can be downsized so that the apparatus can be mounted on a vehicle and yet has sufficient coagulation effect.SOLUTION: The coagulation/sedimentation apparatus comprises: coagulation tanks 2 and 3 in which suspended substances in raw water are added with sedimentation accelerating materials and coagulants to be coagulated as a coagulated flock; a sedimentation tank 4; and a cyclone 20 in which slurry pulled out from the sedimentation tank 4 is separated into sludge and sedimentation accelerating materials and the separated sedimentation accelerating materials are returned to the second coagulation tank 3, where outer dimensions of the tanks are 15 m or less in whole length, 3 m or less in width and 3.3 m or less in height and shapes in a planar view of the tanks are rectangular. An advection port 8 is provided below a bulkhead 2a and a standing plate 3a is facing the advection port 8. A current plate 12a is provided in an overflow weir 12 so that the plate faces the weir at an interval of 500-1500 mm therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
