Abstract:
To provide a roadbed material of a road utilizing coal ash being a by-product produced in the process of the operation of a pressure fluidized bed type thermoelectric power station and to provide an operation method using the same material.
The coal ash-containing composition is obtained by blending water of an amount in the range of the optimum moisture ratio-5% to the optimum moisture ratio + 10% into coal ash containing, by weight, 25 to 55% SiO2, 8 to 15% Al2O3, 1 to 6.5% Fe2O3, 10 to 35% CaO and 2 to 8% SO3 as the main components, and having a Blaine value of 2,000 to 8,000 cm2/g. In the construction method for the roadbed of a road, the same composition is scattered on a road with heavy machinery and is compacted.
