Title:
COAL BURNING FLUIDIZED-BED TYPE COMBUSTION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59167613
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate discharge of pulverized fluid medium to the outside of a furnace by increasing velocity of flow of gas, to prevent decrease of temperature due to pulverization of fluidizing medium, and to enable to perform continuous operation for a long time through sufficient maintenance of the self-burning temperature of coal, by a method wherein the air tower part of a fluidized-bed combustion device is gradually reduced in size toward the top part thereof.

CONSTITUTION: A device consists of mainly a fluidized bed combustion furnace 1, including a dispersion plate 5 through which the air 2 for fluidization, fed through an air box 4, passes, a fluidized bed 6 of fluid medium formed on the dispersion plate 5, a coal feed pipe 3 for feeding coal to the fluidized bed 6, and an air tower part 7 located above the fluidized bed 6, a cyclone 9 which removes dust in exhaust gas exhausted through a line 8 from a tower top duct 8A of the combustion furnace 1, and a motor- operated dust collector 10. The pulverized fluidizing medium scatters in the upper part of the air tower part 7 of the fluidized-bed combustion device 1. The air tower part is constituted such that it is gradually decreased in size toward the upper part thereof, and this causes the fluidizing medium to be exhausted through an exhaust gas duct 8A to the outside without dropping or circulating within the air tower part, and enables velocity of flow of gas to be gradually increased.
