Abstract:
To provide an improved coal nozzle assembly for a coal nozzle assembly steam generator, which makes a more homogenous mixture of coal particles and primary air just before being burnt in a furnace to thereby enhance the efficiency of the furnace and reduce pollutants, for instance NOx, in flue gas.SOLUTION: A coal nozzle assembly comprises an elongated nozzle body 3 having a nozzle tip at one end thereof. The nozzle tip 5 comprises two channels 14.1, 14.2, and each channel 14.1, 14.2 has a curved or buckled flow path. The nozzle tip 5 further comprises a parting means 11 separating the channels 14.1, 14.2 from each other. The directions of flow paths of the channels 14.1, 14.2 at the ends thereof distal from the nozzle body 3 of the channels 14.1, 14.2 enclose an angle (α) between 0° and 90°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
