To provide coal reforming equipment improving thermal efficiency by effectively utilizing thermal energy than before.
The coal reforming equipment 100 includes: a burner 120 for drying which generates combustion gas 7 for drying; a dryer 112 into which the combustion gas 7 is supplied from the burner 120 for drying and which dries low grade coal 1 contained inside; a burner 121 for dry distillation which generates combustion gas 7 for dry distillation; a dry distillation machine 113 into which the combustion gas 7 is supplied from the burner 121 for dry distillation and which performs dry distillation of dried coal 2; a circulation blower 123 which supplies the burner 121 for dry distillation with dry distillation gas 5 and a part of gaseous dry distillation oil 6 generated in the dry distillation machine 113; a cooling tower 115 or the like which cools the dry distillation gas 5 and other parts of gaseous dry distillation oil 6 generated in the dry distillation machine 113 to separate them into the dry distillation gas 5 and liquid dry distillation oil 6; and a circulation blower 119 which supplies the burner 120 for drying with the dry distillation gas 5 separated from the distillation oil 6 in the cooling tower 115.
