PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a drying treatment and a pulverization treatment on coal with a high moisture content by a simple treatment flow while suppressing total energy needed for the treatments.SOLUTION: The system is a coal treatment system for conducting a drying treatment and a pulverization treatment on coal and has a vertical-type roller mill 1 for pulverizing coal while supplying hot wind into a mill casing and a dryer 2 for further drying the coal which has been pulverized by the vertical-type roller mill 1 and preliminarily dried by hot wind to a desired moisture content.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
