Abstract:
PURPOSE: To coal-water slurry composition in a high concentration, containing respective specific amounts of coal dust and a formalin condensate (salt thereof) of a specific sulfonated polycyclic aromatic compound as a dispersing agent, transportable through pipeline and having good fluidity.
CONSTITUTION: A coal-water slurry composition containing (A) 50W75wt% coal dust having a particle diameter such that 80% particles pass through a 200-mesh screen and (B) 0.05W2.0wt%, preferably 0.1W1.0 wt% formalin condensate (having 1.2W3.0 condensation degree) or a salt thereof of a sulfonated polycyclic aromatic compound consisting of lignin and/or (alkyl)naphthalene.
