Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a coated surface having a catalytic function effective for gasification and decomposition of fats and oils by using the Fe2O3 and ZrO2 treated with the oxides of periodic tableIA group or IIA group, specific compounds contg. these and sulfur compounds.

CONSTITUTION: At least one or more kinds selected from the four groups, A) Na2O, K2O, CeO, MaO which are oxides of periodic tableIA group or IIA group; B) compounds expressed by MAXMBYOZ which are the compounds contg. these, and are the compounds of which MA is Na, K, Ca, Mg, MB is C, Si, Al and X, Y, X are integers; C) Fe2O3 treated by sulfur compounds of H2SO4, (NH4)2SO4, SO2, H2S, SO3; D) solid ultrastrong acid catalysts consisting of the ZrO2 treated with the above- mentioned sulfur compounds are coated on ovens and petroleum burning appliances by using, for example, heat resistant paint of a silicone type binder, whereby the desired coated surface is obtd.
