Abstract:
To provide a coated wire having a coating layer having a uniform thickness which can be easily formed by an extrusion molding method and can maintain excellent tensile creep resistance at 150°C, excellent ductility to tensile force applied at 150°C and excellent deformation resistance to a tensile load applied at 150°C even after being placed in hot water at high temperature for a long time and is less likely to cause cracking even being heated for a long time in a state of being wound around a cylinder with a smaller diameter after placed in hot water for a long time.SOLUTION: There is provided a coated wire having a core wire and a coating layer provided around the core wire, wherein the coating layer contains a fluorine-containing copolymer containing a tetrafluoroethylene unit, a hexafluoropropylene unit and a fluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) unit, the content of a hexafluoropropylene unit in the fluorine-containing copolymer is 9.5 to 10.5 mass% based on the total monomer units, the content of the fluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) unit in the fluorine-containing copolymer is 0 to 0.3 mass% based on the total monomer units and the fluorine-containing copolymer has a melt flow rate at 372°C of 5.6 to 8.9 g/10 min.SELECTED DRAWING: None
