Abstract:
To provide a gas barrier property-having coating agent composition excellent in film forming property, capable of producing a film which exhibits excellent gas barrier properties even under high humidity, to say nothing of low humidity.
The gas barrier property-having coating agent composition is composed of an aqueous solution of a polyvinyl alcohol resin and an aqueous emulsion of a polyacrylonitrile resin. The ratio of the polyvinyl alcohol resin and the polyacrylonitrile resin in the composition is that the former is 90-60 wt.%, and the latter is 10-40 wt.% based on 100 wt.% of the total of both the resins. Preferably, the polyacrylonitrile resin has a glass transition temperature Tg of 55-70°C.
