Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating agent composition suitable for applications of outdoor uses in windows or windshield of transporting machines such as vehicles or aircraft, windows of buildings, sound insulating walls, etc., of roads because excellent transparency, scuff, weather and chemical resistances can be imparted to a plastic article, especially a polycarbonate resin having a film formed from the coating agent composition.
SOLUTION: This coating agent composition is characterized as comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. of an organosilicon compound having a hydrolysable group- containing silyl group and (B) 0.1-50 pts.wt. of a hydrolyzate and condensate of a reactional product or a mixture of (b-1) a mixture containing a titanium tetraalkoxide and a metal alkoxide represented by M(OR)n (wherein, M is at least one kind of metal selected from Zr, Fe, Al, Zn, In, Cu, Si, Sn, W and Mg; n is the valence of the metal; and R is a 1-10C alkyl group or hydrogen atom) with a β-diketone.
