PURPOSE: To provide a coating agent which contains an emulsion polymer obtd. by the free radical emulsion polymn. of a specific monomer mixture in the presence of a sulfosuccinic acid deriv. and another anionic emulsifier and is suitable esp. for the care of floors or shoes.
CONSTITUTION: This coating agent contains an emulsion polymer which is obtd. by the free radical emulsion polymn. of a monomer mixture (A) comprising a (meth)acrylic ester (A1) having a prim- or sec-alkyl group, a monomer (A2) selected from among a (meth)acrylic ester having a tert-alkyl group, (meth) acrylonitrile, etc., a vinylarom, hydrocarbon (A3), and an olefinically unsatd. mono- or dicarboxylic acid (A4) in the presence of an emulsifier mixture (B) comprising a sulfosuccinic acid deriv. (B1) of formula I [wherein M is an alkali metal, ammonium or the like; and X and Y are each a group of formula II, III, or IV (wherein R is 6-18C alkyl, phenyl or the like; (n) is 2-4; and (m) is 0-30) provided at least one of them is a group of formula II or IV], another anionic emulsifier (B2), and optionally a nonionic emulsifier (B3).
