To obtain the subject composition containing fluororesin powder, having an injury-preventing function, when mechanically processed, and a substrate exposure-preventing function, when the surface of a coated color steel plate is injured, and useful for roofing materials, etc.

This coating composition contains (A) a polyester resin and/or an epoxy resin, (B) a crosslinking agent and (C) (i) fluororesin powder and (ii) silicon carbide, or the component (i), (iii) a silicon oxide and the component (ii) as main components. The component B is e.g. a blocked polyisocyanate compound and/or a melamine resin. In the component C, the component (i) is e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene having a particle diameter of 2.5-5μm, and the components (ii) and (iii) have particle diameters of 1-20μm and 1-12μm, respectively. The components (i), (ii) and (iii) are contained in amount of 0.1-1vol.%, 0.05-1vol.% and 0.5-5vol.%, respectively, based on the solid content of the component A.
