To provide a cold-end coating composition keeping a scratch preventing function of the surface of a glassware even after hot-water treatment of the ware for the cleaning of the ware and the sterilization of the content, enabling the labeling with a starch-based paste and resistant to the peeling of the label in distribution, but enabling easy peeling of the label in recycling, and to protect the surface of a plate glass to prevent the lowering of the strength.
The coating composition for the treatment of glass surface forms a glass surface enabling the easy peeling of the label. The coating composition is an aqueous composition containing an emulsified polyethylene wax having an acid value of 10-25 mg-KOH/g and a silane coupling agent having an amino group.
