Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a novel coating composition having improved blocking resistance and comprising a nitrocellulose having a specified nitrogen content and an epoxidized, ethoxylated natural fatty acid esters, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises 82-40 wt.% (desirably 82-60 wt.%) nitrocellulose having a nitrogen content of below 12.6 wt.% and 18-60 wt.% (desirably 18-40 wt.%) plasticizer comprising an epoxidized and/or ethoxylated natural fatty acid ester and/or an epoxidized and/or ethoxylated triglyceride.
