Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition with which surface defects such as a surface waving phenomenon generated during forming a magnesium alloy molded body can be easily repaired.
SOLUTION: The coating composition for a magnesium alloy molded body comprises a main component mainly composed of an epoxy resin, a curing agent component mainly composed of a polyamide and a filling inorganic material, and the content of the filling inorganic material is 40-65 mass% of the whole solid component of the resin.
