Abstract:
To provide a coating composition which is superior to opening property after heat treatment and can form coating superior in workability and acid tolerance without using bisphenol skeletons such as BPA and epoxy resin having biphenol skeletons as raw materials, and a can having the coating of the coating composition.SOLUTION: A coating composition contains epoxy resin (A) and a curing agent (B). The epoxy resin (A) is a reaction product of epoxy group in epoxide having neither bisphenol skeleton nor biphenol skeleton, and carboxyl group of polyester having carboxyl group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
