Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition with which a polycarbonate can be coated in good adhesion without priming and which can give a film improved in transparency and weathering resistance by mixing a specified copolymer with an UV absorber and a solvent based on a cyclic ether.
CONSTITUTION: A copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 30-80mol% vinylidene fluoride with 10-40mol% hexafluoroacetone and 5-40mol% fluoroolefin monomer, desirably tetrafluoroethylene or trifluoroethylene in the presence of a polymerization initiator by a solution polymerization process is mixed with a benzophenone, benzotriazole or acrylic UV absorber and a solvent containing at least 50wt.% cyclic ether.
