Title:
COATING COMPOSITION FOR PRECOATED METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3107198
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition comprising a fluorine-containing copolymer, colloidal silica and a blocked polyisocyanate respectively in specific amounts, and capable of forming a coating film not generating cracks on a heating treatment or on a bending treatment, even when the coating film is thick.
SOLUTION: This coating composition for precoated metals comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a fluorine-containing copolymer, (B) colloidal silica in an amount of 100-400 pts.wt. as a silica solid content, and (C) a blocked polyisocyanate in an amount of 20-200 pts.wt. as a resin solid content. The component A preferably has a number-average mol.wt. of 7000-100000, a glass transition temperature of 30-60°C and an OH value of 40-120mgKOH/g. The objective composition can thus form coating films excellent in processability and stain resistance.
