Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating composition giving a coating film manifesting a high hardness and excellent in wear resistance, having a sufficient adhesivity to a substrate which is a resin molded article, without deteriorating the appearance and transparency.
SOLUTION: The coating composition giving the coating film having sufficient adhesivity excellent in wear resistance without deteriorating the appearance and transparency is obtained by using a phenylalkoxysilane including a phenyl group and γ-butyrolactone as its solvent is a composition comprising hydrolyzate of an organo-alkoxysilane and/or its condensate and a colloidal silica as the main components.
