Abstract:
To provide a coating composition able to form a good antifouling coating film to which pollutant materials can not easily adhere and, even when the pollutant materials adhere, they can be removed by a simple operation.
The coating composition comprises 1 kind or 2 kinds of organic solvents selected from aliphatic hydrocarbon-based solvents, petroleum-based solvents, aromatic solvents and fluorine-based solvents as a base, and laminar clay minerals treated to be organophilic and included in the aforesaid base.
