Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a coating composition which has better adhesion to metals, e.g. iron, than a urethane resin coating material and can form a film improved in surface hardness and contamination resistance.
CONSTITUTION: A composition obtained by polymerizing an alkoxysilylated ethylenic monomer in an organic solvent in the presence of a silicate oligomer represented by the formula is mixed with a urethane resin. In the formula, n is an integer of 1-20 and R is hydrogen, a 1-4C alkyl, or phenyl.
