To provide a new coating method for multicolor decorations, giving coated products enabling to safely and simply perform application works such as a coating work and an ageing work and capable of being used in stead of wall-decorating materials represented by vinyl chloride resin wall sheets (vinylic resin clothes), and to provide the combination of aqueous decorative coatings capable of being used for the coating method.
This combination of the aqueous decorative coatings comprises an aqueous emulation primer 1 having a relatively long dry touch drying time, scaly color flakes 2 and an aqueous emulsion clear coating 3 as a top coating. The coating method for multicolor decorations comprises coating a surface to be coated with the aqueous emulsion primer 1, sticking the scaly color flakes 2 to the surface of the applied aqueous emulsion primer 1 within the above dry touch drying time by a spraying method, and finally coating the aqueous emulsion clear coating 3 on the applied color flakes 2.
