The coating device is provided with a holding part 12 nearly vertically holding a base material 21 of a coating object, a first coating practicing part 11 drawing a coating material from a coating opening and coating one side surface of the base material 21 with the coating material, a second coating practicing part 11 drawing the coating material from the coating opening and coating the other side surface of the base material 21 with the coating material, and a control part 13 controlling so that the first coating practicing part 11 and the second coating practicing part 11 may move nearly vertically along the base material 21 at the respective predetermined speeds. The first coating practicing part 11 and the second coating practicing part 11 are arranged at the nearly same positions facing both sides of the base material 21, and are controlled so as to go down at the nearly same speeds.
