The coating device includes the rotating drum having an upper-stage baffle 8 and further includes a height adjustment means 11 configured so that the height of the upper-stage baffle 8 from the inside surface of a peripheral wall part 7 can be adjusted from the outside of the rotating drum. The height adjustment means 11 has a height adjustment pin 12 made to penetrate the peripheral wall part 7 to be freely moved backward and forward. One end of the height adjustment pin 12 is attached freely detachably to the upper-stage baffle 8 and the other end thereof is attached freely detachably to the outside of the rotating drum. The height adjustment pin 12 is replaced by another height adjustment pin having a different length to adjust the height of the upper-stage baffle 8 from the inside surface of the side wall part 7.
