To provide a coating drying furnace with a short drying time, capable of easily feeding hot air between works each other and making difference of temperatures at respective parts of the works small.
In the coating drying furnace 1, a plurality of works Wa-Wd arranged in a conveying direction with every predetermined gap are advanced and stopped by every predetermined pitches to dry the works Wa-Wd. This coating drying furnace 1 is provided with a drying chamber 20 conveying the works Wa-Wd; blowing out ports 30a-30e provided at upper positions than the works Wa-Wd in the drying chamber 20 and blowing out hot air; and suction ports 40a-40d provided at lower positions than the works Wa-Wd in the drying chamber 20 and sucking the hot air blown out from the blowing ports 30a-30e. The blowing ports 30a-30e are arranged at a work stop position where the works Wa-Wd are stopped so as to be interposed between the mutually adjacent works Wa-Wd.
