To provide an application device that can apply coating materials by simple operation, an application system, an application method and a program.SOLUTION: In an application device 10, an acquisition part 140 acquires an index value indicating strength of contact of the application device 10 with an object to be applied. A setting part 150 sets control information concerning control of application to the object to be applied, on the basis of the index value acquired by the acquisition part 140.
